About the course
This is an ALL NEW workshop style course for physiotherapists, from the popular originator of the "Pilates 1:1 programme" John Stephenson MMACP MSc SRP MCSP. The original Pilates 1:1 workshops repeatedly sold out when first released back in 2000 and strong interest is anticipated again.

Presented exclusively to groups of 7-18 physiotherapists, the compact tutorial style allows for excellent hands on learning. The Walk:BacK Workshop series, brings together theory from the latest spinal stabilisation research (Richardson et al 2004) with the exercise systems of Joseph Pilates, adverse neural dynamics (Butler 1990) and gait analysis. Those attending the course will rapidly assimilate a practical knowledge base, that can be applied to solving spinal health and mobility problems. The course content is highly applicable to many common out-patient situations and is provided in a format that allows integration into clinical practice from day one. The Walk:BacK Workshop Programme builds, over five modules, to provide a clinical tool that can be used to restore normal function at many levels. The program is equally applicable to the client incapacitated by Back Pain, to the athlete wishing to add performance to Elite level.
